So here's just a quick thought. . . again about the whole walk, stand, sit progression. If sinners do this, maybe as Saints we should be doing the opposite: Sitting at the feet of Jesus, learning from Him, Spending time with Him in prayer etc. Standing on the promises and on His unchanging word. Walking in His ways, going where He leads, carrying the message of Salvation. . . . just a thought? - Sam

  2. With the SIT, WALK, STAND key words in Ephesians, I remember this thought: "SIT" - our position in Christ (Eph.2:6), "Walk" - our life in the world (Eph. 4:1) "STAND" - our attitude to the enemy (Eph.6:11).
We begin sitting with Jesus Christ, asking for repentance, worshiping and praising Him for the gift of salvation...spending time with Him (Sam mentioned above)ect...; we are walking in this world living our lives the way God wants us to be (again by His GRACE); standing what we KNOW is TRUE, PURE and Honest...the enemy's attack is all around us everyday. When I woke up this morning, my mind was just full of crazy stuff. I could have entertained them and not going to what I KNOW is pure and what I know is worth praising. I praise God He won the battle in me this morning:) I ended up praising Him... :)
    Sam, thanks for the thought!
Lauren, thanks for reminding us to be very proactive against sin in our lives.!!!
